Meg holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the accredited programs at Western Michigan University. She maintains current status as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and has spent the past decade empowering clients to create lasting, positive behavior change.
Throughout her career, Meg has developed evidence-based habit change interventions for staff, teachers and parents as well as children with disabilities. Utilizing the scientific principles and strategies of behavior science, she helps clients recognize their strengths, barriers, goals, and internal motivations.
Meg’s own personal commitment to healthy eating and exercise has taught her that physical strength, flexibility and endurance positively affect a person’s behavior, thoughts, feelings and emotions in all realms of life. With the alarming rise in chronic stress, obesity, diabetes and other preventable health conditions, Meg founded SPARK Behavior Solutions, LLC to help individuals to start living healthier, happier, more balanced lives. She partners with clients to design personalized habit-change Action Plans that emphasize the benefits of holistic fitness and nutrition.
Meg is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International, subscribes to scholarly journals, contributes to several wellness publications, participates in continuing education opportunities and also maintains close ties with a network of professionals, researchers and scholars in the fields of health and behavior science.

The SPARK Strategy
Clients come to SPARK seeking change. They may have a vision in mind or see the destination, but they need help navigating the path to get there. The Survey is where Coach Meg assists each client in mapping out their specific barriers, goals, objectives, and motivations.
The Planning phase is where Coach Meg will use the information gathered from the Survey assessments to develop an individualized Action Plan that works for you! You’ll partner with your coach to learn time-tested behavior change tools and techniques that will fuel your motivation.
Because action speaks louder than words, here at SPARK, we focus on observable, measurable behaviors. Your detailed Action Plan will spell out exactly what you need to do. And when you’re practicing a new pattern of behavior, remember that every situation and obstacle is a learning opportunity. Your SPARK Coach will be there to support you every step of the way!
You’ll learn to monitor and analyze your own behavior patterns and track your Results. The number of minutes spent jogging, the number of suggestions made at important meetings, the number of pages typed on a dissertation… When you know your numbers, you can affect change in any behavior! You’ll be able to share your results with your SPARK Coach in real-time, so your plan will adapt and change as you do. Running the numbers will ensure that you stay on the path toward progress!
